Terah is a world built around the idea of the real world crossed with the mechanics of an old world RPG. Magic powers technology and the societies of each race run mainly on experience and ranks. There are all sorts of kingdoms, cities, villages, tribes, and much more.

 Magic is not unlimited, however, and has to be trained in various classes and jobs though some races have better affinities than others. 

 In the upper planes lie the Celestials: Angels, Seraphs, and those with holy powers. In some cases humans with extraordinary holy powers can be allowed in and out of the upper planes. Below on the middle plane lies the humans, other humanoid races, and monsters, with the exception of some celestial and demon cities that also reside on that plane but cannot be accessed by humans and humanoids. On the lower planes lie the demons who share some blood traits with monsters but rank higher socially.

 Each race has it's own social structure and set of rules along with the laws of the world itself in order to keep peace and balance between them all. Terah is a vast world with many terrains, creatures, and history.
