TEST ME

  Runa is the mother of the protagonist, Rukio, and a 5 tailed Nekomata. Nekomata are cat demons with tails that can split as their powers grow, which means that Runa is a fairly strong demon in her own right. She is one of the major characters in the story as Rukio still lives with her during the game and she is very protective of her son.

  During her younger years she fell in love with a human, went against the warnings of doing so, married him, and lived with him on their own. They would then have Rukio who loves his mother and father very much and does not blame them for how people treat him, rather he is actually supportive of their love.

  Runa is allowed to bring Rukio into Chaya by the council as she is respected by them, for what remains a mystery even to her son and he has yet to get it out of her. She runs a potion shop on the edge of the city out of her home and grows her own herbs, flowers, and more. She is considered a considerate woman with a playful side to her and only a little vain in that she likes to always look her best.

  She is the one who convinces Rukio to choose one of the other men as his partner for the test.
