TEST ME

  Rukio meets Tato around the time him and his mother moved into the city and quickly became friends. Though Tato is a Tanuki, he is also a traveling blacksmith and wanders between both the middle and lower planes to sell and create his wares. He really loves to make swords and one day hopes to make a legendary sword. Though most of the work he gets involves making and repairing tools, he definitely doesn't complain.

  He gets along fine with humans and even explains to Rukio that because Tanuki are so good at disguising themselves as humans they often are looked down on by other demons as well. This is why he keeps his ears and under-eye marks out when in Chaya.

  If not working out of his tent Rukio can usually find his friend downtown in the marketplace where the Kitsune have set up shop, as it is their fire that Tato buys to power his furnace.
